Apartment Review
Don't Waste Your Money!!!

Reading the other reviews it is hard not to laugh. All of these are right on the money, and money is the one thing this complex is not worth. I have lived here for just about a year and it has been a nightmare. The only thing good about it was that I had a top-floor apartment so I didn't hear much from those around me. I had a single mother next to me and a quiet young lady across from me so there wasn't much to complain about as far as noise.

The fact that management is so two-faced is incredible. They are your best friend on 12 occasions: When you sign your lease and pay your rent, and when you give them the rent for the following 11 months. Other than that, don't bother, you will be given a bad attitude and not much help at all. When we lost power due to the ice storm, the employees never even showed up to work letalone put a sign on the door saying they wouldn't be there; that would have been too much work. And then an employee has the guts to say that they had it so rough when they had to sleep on the floor of an apartment that still had heat. I don't want to hear that crap when I lived in mine for four days where the temperature ended dropping BELOW freezing on the final day before power was restored. Rough? Try again.

The only other good thing that has come from this place is the friends I have made. It is hard to find many people that speak English here anymore since they started allowing anyone and everyone move in. Salary requirement? That's a joke. Read the police blotter lately? You'll be surprised how many incidents occur here. Management just turns their head and pretends all of the issues at hand don't exist. Hey, instead of jacking our rent up $150/month, stop paying those kids on the corner to twirl a sign in their hands because they look ridiculous and wouldn't make someone want to rent from here. Newsflash: The reason the rent keeps going up astronomically is not rocket science--it is not worth the money they charge, people move out, they have to meet a bottom line to stay open, so they have to charge more. People moving out at a higher rate than they are moving in would give me a pretty obvious idea of what to expect in the future.

When moving in, if you dare choose to do so, make sure you DEFINITELY give a copy of everything you find wrong with the place to the leasing center and keep a copy for yourself in case they "misplace" it. My apartment had dirty carpets, stained linoleum, missing doorhandles, etc.

All in all, if you made it this far...don't give this place the satisfaction of ripping you off. You can find better elsewhere.
